✨Announcing this month's theme: #TheBachelorsDegree✨
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In 2016, after passing the 12th grade, I decided to apply for BA in English. I was lucky enough to get into a college that made the subject interesting and fun.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was a reader before I started college but I had never been exposed to a wide range of literature. My degree forced me to step out of my comfort zone and explore options which I was iffy about but have become some of my favourites.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now I am in my final year of Master's program, I decided to take a trip down the memory lane and revisit books that have impacted my life in various different ways.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So this month, I am going to discuss books I read for my undergraduate degree. My syllabus included novels, plays, short stories and poetry; I am going focus on the novels and plays.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🦋I will be going in order from first year to third year:
1) Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
2) Twelfth Night by Shakespeare
3) The Quills of The Porcupine by Saradindu Bandyopadhyay
4) Sula by Toni Morrison
5) Harvest by Manjula Padmanabha
6) Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
7) Othello by Shakespeare
8) Emma by Jane Austen
9) Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett
10) I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
11) The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
12) Dance like a Man by Mahesh Dattani🦋
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am ecstatic to share this with you guys. 🧡
Can't wait!
